Chris Reid grew up in poverty in Fremantle, Western Australia and in 1995, at the age of 19, with only his final weeks ‘waiters’ paycheck in his pocket, boarded a greyhound bus to Sydney with a dream of a better life and a fresh start.

Chris found work in the fashion industry as a factory hand where he learn’t how to ‘cut’. It was this trade that enabled Chris to pay his way through 4 years of fashion design college, cutting for some of Australia’s top Fashion Designers.

In 2002, not wanting to be an ‘employee’ and realising he needed to learn about sales to be a successful businessman, Chris joined Herbalife, a world reknowned Network Marketing company.

Using the Herbalife products Chris lost 12kgs in 12 weeks, quit a pack a day smoking habit and was able to earn a modest $1300 profit in his first month as a distributor.

It was this early success on the products and his desire to learn to be a business man that inspired Chris to open the first ‘Nutrition Club’ in Australia where he quickly rose to the Global Expansion Team building a sales organisation turning over $20,000 a month.

In 2007 Chris started learning about online marketing methods and threw himself into discovering everything he could about using the internet to generate leads and sales for his Herbalife business.

Quickly realising the potential of the internet Chris closed down his Herbalife nutrition club, moved his business to his bedroom and focused on developing his own products and his own brand as a internet marketing coach and trainer.

In 2009 Chris registered his first company, Wizkid Academy Pty Ltd, and now devotes 100% of his energy to helping small business owners succeed online.

Chris Reid has a passion for being in front of the curve, learning whats new and sharing his knowledge and skills with as many people as possible.

Through Wizkid Academy Chris has coached, mentored and trained countless small business owners to develop strategies that grow their brand and sell their products successfully online.

Chris has become an expert in generating leads online using Social Media, Google Adwords, Video Marketing, Email Marketing and Blogging and is regularly sought after for advice, and speaking engagements.

Wizkid Academy has since evolved to now also offer WordPress website designs to its clients, something Chris enjoys as it allows his creative fashion design training to flourish.

Using WordPress as his main website building platform Chris and the team at Wizkid Academy have so far created websites for a variety of industries and organisations such as Universities, government agencies, shoe stores, pharmecutical companies, authors, charities, yoga schools and handymen, to name a few.

Wizkid Academy now employs full time and part time graphic designers, developers, programmers, admin and support staff to help with the ever increasing growth of the company.

Now living in Bondi beach and working from a professional home office, Chris plans to make 2013 his biggest year ever by helping even more small business owners achieve their dreams than ever before.
