Chris started his life in the Australian Fashion Industry working with Carla Zampatti as a junior helper in 1995. At 20 years of age he walked into Carla’s head office with no fashion background or skills but a strong desire to become a fashion designer.
While enjoying most aspects of the business, on Carla’s advice Chris learnt how to be a fashion cutter as a trade to fall back on and as an important industry skill.
After 2 years working with Carla where he experienced all facets of Carla’s successful business and becoming an extremely proficient cutter, Chris enrolled in the Fashion Design Course at the National Art School, East Sydney Tafe.

To pay his way through 4 years of fashion school, Chris worked as a fashion cutter for various Sydney Fashion Desgners including Stuart Membrey, Collette Dinigan, Akira Izagowa, Lisa Ho, Nicola Finetti and Carla Zampatti, often working through the nights and weekends to finish the work and make it to class on time.
Christopher Reid created a name for himself as a talented and reliable fashion cutter around Sydney as well as a becoming a truly talented fashion designer and artist and won 2 awards while at college including the Grand Marnier Design Award and the Womens Haute Couture Innovation Award.
Upon completing the 1 year Full time Certificate and then the 3 year advanced diploma in fashion design at the end of 2000, Chris kept working as a fashion cutter before moving into the network marketing coaching and training field which has seen him open Australia 1st Nutrition Club on Pitt Street where he has helped hundreds of people lose weight, improve skin appearence and energy.
During the past 7 years Chris Reid has helped many individuals become more confident in their appearance and more healthy and style aware while also building a successful Network Marketing organisation that expands into 11 countries.
